MADRID-BARAJAS INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT HOT SPOTS MAP


This map shows hot spots at Madrid-Barajas International Airport. These spots represent obstacles airplanes can impact against during take off or landing, located inside Madrid-Barajas International Airport area and surroundings.


Hot Spot 1: Collision risk against obstacles located inside runway 33L RPZ (Runway Protection Zone) as a result of a floated landing or missed approach immediately after going around.


Hot Spot 2: Collision risk against terminal building T-4 and the Auxiliary Control Tower as a result of a missed approach CAT ILS II/III on runway 33L.


Hot Spot 3: Collision risk against the four skyscrapers located in La Paz Hospital area as a result of a missed approach landing CAT ILS II/III on runway 33L.


Hot Spot 4: Collision risk against obstacles located inside runway 18R RPZ (Runway Protection Zone) as a result of a floated landing or missed approach immediately after going around.


Hot Spot 5: Collision risk against the North Control Tower as a result of a missed approach CAT ILS I/II/III on runway 18R.
